The
quality and attention to detail that embody the Taylors' work,
coupled with their ability to recognize the uniqueness of any given
location, continue to garner national, as well as international,
attention and recognition.
Awards include the converted Blue Ribbon 'FAME' award,
the Aurora award, ASID FSC Design Excellence award, Sub-Zero Kitchen
Design award, South Florida Builders association platinum best
award, and South Florida's best 'Best of Show' award
to name a few.
Their work has been featured in Casa y Estilo, Coastal
Living, Florida Architecture, Florida Design, Metropolitan Home,
and the Miami Herald. Further, the Taylors have been featured on
several House and Garden network segments as well
as in numerous design books and publications with the most recent
accolade being named among the Robb Report's
'World's Top Architects'.
The AURORA Awards
“The AURORA Awards are the Grammy’s of the home building profession,” said
Ashley Jennings, of Kay Green Design, Orlando, FL and 2008 AURORA Award Chair. “The
AURORA symbolizes tremendous achievement, honor and distinction among building
industry professionals.” Now in it’s 30th year, these awards are
presented each year to builders, developers, architects, planners, interior merchandisers,
landscape architects and other disciplines actively involved in a 12-state southeastern
region plus the Caribbean, who have demonstrated building and design excellence.
ASID FSC Design Excellence Award
ASID is the leading professional organization for interior designers with the
largest residential and commercial membership. With more than 38,000 members,
ASID establishes a common identity for professionals and businesses in the field
of interior design. Being recognized and honored by our peers is especially valued
at the Taylor & Taylor Partnership.
Sub-Zero Kitchen Design Award
Sub-Zero, Inc. and Wolf Appliance, Inc., the industry leaders in refrigeration,
wine storage and cooking equipment, identifies kitchen design movements throughout
the world, evaluating close to 2,000 entries. "Since the inaugural competition
in 1993, our kitchen design contest has become one of the highest-regarded awards
in the industry," said Paul Leuthe, corporate marketing manager of Sub-Zero
and Wolf Appliance. "With each contest we gain insight into kitchen design
trends and learn how designers incorporate our appliances into their projects."
